Popular Nigerian TikTok personality, Peller, has revealed why he abandoned Islam for Christianity, attributing his conversion to a traumatic childhood experience at a Quranic school, commonly known as “Ile Kewu.” Eyes Of Lagos reports,

Speaking during a recent live session, Peller said he suffered harsh punishments as a child while attending the Islamic school.
“I’m not a Muslim. I go to church very well. I was beaten severely when I was young at the Quranic school,” he stated.
Peller, who is now a devoted Christian, disclosed that the experience left a lasting emotional scar, influencing his decision to change his faith.
