A check on their Instagram accounts shows that both siblings are no longer following each other, a move that has raised eyebrows among fans, especially as it comes at a turbulent time in Regina’s personal life.
The development follows the actress’ ongoing marital crisis with her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, which has remained a trending topic online in recent weeks.
Further findings revealed that Regina’s younger brother, Sammy West, has also unfollowed Sweezzy on Instagram. This has further fueled curiosity, as Sweezzy had previously been vocal about Sammy’s legal ordeal and publicly supported him alongside their mother, veteran actress Rita Daniels.
The circumstances surrounding the social media unfollowing remain unclear, as none of the family members involved has issued any statement to explain the situation.
It will be recalled that Sammy West was arrested on November 6, 2025, in Lagos and later taken to Abuja following a petition reportedly filed by Senator Ned Nwoko. He was accused of criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, theft and cyberbullying.
Sammy was granted bail on November 10, 2025, in the sum of ₦5 million, a development that sparked widespread reactions online and drew public support from his family members, including Sweezzy.
The arrest was reportedly linked to the marital dispute between Regina Daniels and Senator Nwoko, with allegations bordering on domestic violence and abuse of power.
Prior to the recent Instagram unfollowing, Regina Daniels had spoken openly about a child custody battle with her estranged husband. She alleged that Senator Nwoko dismissed her nannies, pressured them into making false statements against her and has since filed for full custody of their children, despite the children being under his care.
