Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has broken her silence following the arrest of her close friend, Ann, in Lagos, raising concerns over the circumstances surrounding the incident.

In a series of posts shared on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, the actress questioned the reasons behind Ann’s arrest, linking it to her ongoing personal issues with her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

Regina expressed deep concern for her friend’s safety, alleging that the arrest was not carried out through proper legal procedures. According to her, the situation had taken a disturbing turn, claiming that what initially started as a domestic violence-related issue had now evolved into a series of different allegations.

The actress revealed that Ann had previously been accused of drug-related offences, an allegation she said was later resolved without confrontation or evidence. She added that a fresh accusation of theft only emerged after she decided to approach the situation calmly instead of engaging in conflict.

Regina further alleged that her former partner appeared determined to keep her life surrounded by tension and controversy, despite having achieved significant success in his own life.

She accused him of constantly shifting accusations and creating recurring drama involving her and people close to her, questioning the motive behind the repeated public disputes.

The actress also noted that she possessed numerous personal and public experiences she could disclose but deliberately chose restraint, stating that speaking out might only encourage what she described as a pattern of attention-seeking behaviour.

Regina concluded her posts by questioning the purpose of the ongoing public confrontations and what the ultimate objective might be.
