Fondly known as Hajja Mamma, the late matriarch passed away on Monday morning, prompting tributes from political leaders, traditional rulers, and members of the public, who described her as a woman of uncommon wisdom, deep faith, and exemplary leadership. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

Hajiya Aisha was not only the mother of the NSA but also the mother of Sani Ribadu, Emir of Fufore in Adamawa State, making her a central figure in both public service and traditional leadership circles. Her nurturing role was widely acknowledged as foundational in shaping prominent leaders in the state.

One of the earliest high-profile visitors to the Ribadu family was Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed, who paid a condolence visit shortly after the news of the death broke.

Senator Umar Binani described Hajiya Aisha as “a mother to all,” whose counsel and prayers extended beyond her immediate family to the wider community.
