Victims Rescued, Hospitalized After Isale Eko Building Collapse

According to official updates from LASTMA’s verified X (formerly Twitter) handle, multiple victims trapped beneath the rubble were successfully rescued and transported to nearby hospitals for immediate medical treatment.

“There is a report of an overnight collapsed building along Adeniji Adele Road at Isale Eko. LASTMA personnel, other emergency responders, and men of the Nigerian Police Force are all on ground. Traffic flow is currently not affected along the corridor. Victims rescued have been taken to the hospital,” the agency confirmed.

Emergency Services On Ground, Traffic Rerouted

While the exact number of casualties remains unconfirmed, search and rescue operations are ongoing. LASTMA has also rerouted traffic to reduce congestion in the affected zone.

“Traffic from Zenith has been redirected through Oba’s Palace to Enu Owa, to ease commuter movement during rescue operations,” the agency added.
