Controversial Nollywood actress Esther Nwachukwu, also known as Esther Sky, has weighed in on the ongoing drama between May Edochie and the Edochie family. In her latest remarks, she advised May, the estranged wife of actor Yul Edochie, to drop his surname and move on for the sake of peace. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

The advice follows heightened tensions within the Edochie family. Reports suggest that Yul’s relatives, including veteran actress Rita Edochie, are taking sides — with May seemingly left out in the cold. Matters escalated further when Yinka, the new wife of Yul’s brother Linc Edochie, allegedly leaked May’s phone number online, triggering a fresh wave of backlash.

“With all due respect, drop Yul Edochie’s name so there will be peace,” Esther Nwachukwu said. “Even if your documents carry May Yul Edochie, go to court. There’s nothing special about the name.”

Esther didn’t hold back, accusing the Edochie family of plotting against May:
“The family has planned against her. All of Yul’s siblings and brothers have been bought. If they weren’t gossiping about Queen May behind closed doors, the new wife wouldn’t have come online to drag her for no reason,” she claimed.

This isn’t the first time May has been urged to let go of the Edochie name. Relationship coach Blessing CEO previously advised her to step out of Yul’s shadow and forge her identity independently, especially in light of his controversial actions.
